The Board is the sole policy making authority for the BID and generally meets monthly.

Executive Committee

The Executive committee includes the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary of the BID.  The immediate past

President also serves as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee. 

The Executive Committee sets the agenda for each

Board meeting and performs such other duties as may be authorized by the

Board from time to time.

When:  Normally meets two Tuesdays before each board meeting at 5:30 PM

Where:  BID Office, 802 N. Grand Avenue

DT Environment & Streetscape

The committee focuses on programs that improve the visual image of the BID.  Areas addressed may include cleanliness issues, litter eradication, building façade improvements, lighting, building maintenance issues, recommendations for infrastructure improvements, public art recommendations, etc.

When:  Second Tuesday each month, 4:30 PM (subject to change)

Where:  BID Office, 802 N. Grand Avenue

Business Retention, Expansion & Recruitment

The committee focuses on programs that aid in the retention and recruitment of businesses. 

When:  Fourth Wednesday each month, 4:30 PM

Where:  BID Office, 802 N. Grand Avenue

Marketing/ PR

The committee focuses on the promotion of downtown Waukesha and the Business Improvement District.  All efforts are to increase awareness of the positive aspects of downtown, the events, and the businesses and to promote downtown Waukesha as a vibrant place to live, work, shop, eat and play.

When:  Third Tuesday each month, 7:30 AM

Where:  The Steaming Cup or Martha Merrell’s Bookstore (location varies)

Finance Committee

The committee works to ensure that the BID is in good fiscal position and help to identify sources of revenue to further the purposes of the BID.

When:  Quarterly or as needed (normally meets on Tuesdays at 5:00 PM)

Where:  BID Office, 802 N. Grand Avenue

Chairperson: Ron Lostetter

DT Development

The committee focuses on programs that encourage quality development and redevelopment in the BID.

When:  Fourth Wednesday each month, 8:00 AM

Where:  BID Office, 802 N. Grand Avenue

Chairperson:  Steve Kassens

Art Fest

The committee plans and implements the annual Art Fest event which is held in September on the Saturday after Labor Day.

When:  Monthly (normally meets on Tuesdays at 5:00 PM)

Where:  Location varies

Chairperson:  Lynn Gaffey
