Acupuncture by Robin

Robin is a Wisconsin State Licensed Acupuncturist and National Board Certified in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has been in private practice since her graduation with a Master of Science Oriental Medicine from The Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in 1998. She became a faculty member of the college shortly after graduation and is currently a Clinical Supervisor. Robin has participated in Integrated Medicine programs at St. Joseph’s Hospital of West Bend and the Columbia St. Mary's Community Physicians group.

Robin has long history of commitment to patient centered health care with quality of life the primary focus. Her practice emphasizes the mind/body connection in health and well-being. Robin has studied traditional Asian bodywork and subtle energy practices as well as some Western styles of soft tissue manipulation. She integrates acupuncture, bodywork, Chinese herbal therapies, nutritional therapies and lifestyle counseling to treat acute and chronic problems and offers ongoing treatment as a wellness practice. Robin believes that many chronic illnesses that occur due to overwork and stress may be prevented or reversed with regular wellness care.

Robin has also developed an extensive specialty in movement facilitation to reduce joint stress related to work, lifestyle and aging and to improve sports performance. She believes that all people can maximize their ability to keep doing the things they love and remain healthy and active for as long as possible.
