Kids' Night Out

Saturday, Feb. 16 - 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Kids rule the museum after hours with Waukesha County Museum’s Kids Night Out! At a Kids Night Out evening, children 5-10 years old will enjoy art activities, games, experiments and much, much more! We even feed them a delicious pizza dinner! Parents can also use this time to have a little fun themselves by going out to dinner, shopping, or running a few errands!

“Carnival” Saturday, February 16th: Come join the party as we explore the many carnival celebrations held all over the world! Activities include mask making, puppetry, and the construction of a float to be displayed in a museum parade! Get ready to jump in the conga line!  Registration deadline is February 12^th.

“Magnificent Magicians” Saturday, March 16th:  Find out what tricks lie up your sleeves with an evening of magic exploration! Activities include creating a magic wand, learning magician secrets and putting on a magic show! Presto Chango!  Registration deadline is March 12^th.

“Around the Campfire” Saturday, April 20^th: The only thing you need to pack for this camping trip is you! In this program kids will explore the ins and outs of camping in outdoor Wisconsin. Activities include orienteering, a flashlight scavenger hunt, nocturnal animals, and telling campfire stories. More fun than singing Kum-ba-yah! Registration deadline is April 16th.
