The Waukesha Business Improvement District and ProHealth Care brings you the Farmers' Market open every Saturday, 7 a.m.-noon, May through October. The Farmers' Market is also open Tuesday afternoons, 2:30 until 6:30 p.m., mid-July through October. The Market is located in Historic Downtown Waukesha along the south side of the Fox River on Riverfront Plaza (between Broadway and Barstow), at the former site of the transit center (just east of 332 Riverfront Plaza).

Products available include in-season fresh vegetables, fruits, cut flowers, annuals and perennials, dried flowers, baked goods, oils, herbs, jams, cheeses, locally raised meats including lamb, beef and pork, and some locally-made art and craft items.  All products are homegrown, raised, or handmade in Wisconsin.  Check out the weekly cooking demonstrations, "Five Fresh Ingredients" with Chef Dean of the Black Trumpet Restaurant, and live music too!

Waukesha County Museum, 101 W. Main Street

This is an exclusive showing of more than 20 pieces of original artwork created by musician John Lennon.  Also on hand will be a unique collection of rare collectibles from both John Lennon's years with the Beatles and from his later career with his wife, Yoko Ono, including lithographs, autographed photos, and the original microphone used during the recording of John Lennon's hit song, "Imagine".  This will be the only time these pieces will be shown together as a collection.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for senior citizens 62 or better, and $6 for students under 18.  For more information, call 262/521-2859.
