Join Waukesha Public Library for a Doughnuts & Documentaries event on September 12 at 10:00 AM. As part of the Waukesha Reads program, the Library will be showing the PBS documentary “The Chinese Exclusion Act.” The film examines the origin, history, and impact of the 1882 law that made it illegal for Chinese workers to come to America and for Chinese nationals to become U.S. citizens.
