Join us on February 13th for our monthly Lunch and Learn. Alannah Ray will present The Story Behind the Object: Illuminating a Piece of Wisconsin History.

Every object within a museum carries a unique history, but not all of these histories are known upon their acquisition by the museum. Alannah will tell you more about how the history of an intriguing object in the Milwaukee Public Museum’s collection connects to important local figures and explain some of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into researching collections.

Alannah Ray is a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Master’s of Science in Anthropology and Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies programs.
